Geetha is a senior programme/project
management professional with 14 years of experience leading large, strategic
investments including AI, IT infrastructure, Data Centres, Digital transformation,
and Product ownership for two multinational organizations. She specializes in
blank sheet assignments and regional, cross-functional IT management
initiatives. Based out of Singapore, she works for Panasonic and is responsible
for digital transformation, strategic projects, and delivery of their regional infrastructure
project portfolio. Until mid-2019, she has been with automotive giant Daimler,
for almost a decade. In her last role there as a product and service owner, she
has led an incubator initiative that transformed a research-based, in-house AI
product into a shared service that reshaped their operations, and won several
laurels both within their organization and outside in the industry. She has
recently completed her Master of Science in Major Programme Management, at Said
Business School, University of Oxford. She believes in the power of data and
has submitted a thesis on the role of data in improving major programme
performance in the smart-cities industry. She also holds a Bachelor of Computer
Science Engineering, Executive MBA and PMP, and has done several public
speaking engagements across the globe. In recognition of her contribution to
the project management profession and IT innovation, she has been honoured by
PMI in the prestigious Future 50 Leaders 2020 Global List.
