Behave yourself!

Mark Smalley

Despite the threat (or promise) of Artificial Intelligence to make people redundant, the success of projects depends, to a high degree, on communication and collaboration between human beings. This is difficult enough, but the business-IT relationship seems to be a tough bottleneck.

This session explores this troubled relationship, inviting you to actively participate in identifying desired and effective behavior from both business and IT people. Your results will be compared to findings from workshops in more than ten countries.

After establishing effective behavior, we’ll take a brief look at the fundamental drivers behind behavior, such as emotions and values.
