The Swedish Project Review is Sweden’s leading index on project related capabilities. In collaboration between KPMG Project Advisory and PMI Sweden Chapter, it provides industry specific benchmarks, points out trends and areas for improvement. This year’s report is based on a survey with 380 respondents from a wide range of sectors and industries. Published for the third consecutive year, this research is not only a status check of the current project climate, it also aims to outline the Swedish project landscape and the conditions to run successful projects in Sweden and internationally – being the theme of this year’s report, Delivering Value Beyond Borders.

About Isabel Bergling Olanders:

Isabel is a management consultant in Project Advisory, Digital Transformation and Innovation, KPMG. She is specialized in project management within knowledge driven industries and operations, including infrastructure development, product development, logistics and greater events. 

Isabel holds a Master in International Business and Administration at Uppsala University, University of Barcelona and University of Unisinos, Brazil and speaks five languages. She has international work experience from e.g. Volvo CE in China and from the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Paris. As a manager for several international projects such as UEFA Europa League Final 2017 for Swedavia and Arlanda Airport and 20+ global product development projects for Volvo CE, Isabel is experienced in setting up successful projects in international environments. Isabel is co-writer of the Swedish Project Review 2019: Delivering Value Beyond Borders. On an extracurricular basis Isabel is also a volunteer in PMI Sweden Chapter where she writes articles about best practice in project management in different industries.

Short bio Konstantinos Viglas:

Konstantinos is the acting Director of Research for PMI Sweden Chapter. He is based in Gothenburg, Sweden and works as the IT Manager for Bihr Nordic, the leading wholesale distributor in motorsports’ parts and accessories. Konstantinos comes with a long experience in executive IT roles, specialized in organizational change and the development of competence centers, with significant exposure in mergers and acquisitions.

Among other roles, he served as the IT Manager for the retailer Delhaize Group, as well as the Global Head of IT for BB Energy Group. He is the owner of an AUEB International MBA and a certified PMP since 2010.
