Ledarskap i en era av transformation

Temat för 2027, Shift Happens, utforskar hur projektledning, ledarskap och styrning förändras i en tid präglad av AI, kontinuerlig transformation och ökande komplexitet. När förändring inte längre är ett undantag – utan själva normalläget – utmanas traditionella sätt att leda, organisera och leverera projekt.

Traditionella styrningsmodeller kolliderar i allt högre grad med hastigheten och osäkerheten i moderna leveransmiljöer.

Många organisationer är fortfarande byggda för stabilitet samtidigt som de verkar i ständig transformation.

AI förändrar redan hur beslut fattas, hur team samarbetar och hur projekt drivs. Samtidigt växer kraven på hållbarhet, anpassningsförmåga och förmågan att navigera osäkerhet i allt mer komplexa miljöer – från digital transformation och PMO-utveckling till gigaprojekt och smart infrastruktur.

Vi söker talare som vill dela med sig av insikter, erfarenheter, ramverk, praktiska exempel och nya perspektiv på hur projektledaryrket utvecklas i denna nya verklighet. Vi välkomnar perspektiv som utmanar traditionella arbetssätt inom ledarskap, styrning, agilitet och projektleverans samt utforskar människans roll i AI-drivna organisationer.

Projektledare är inte längre bara genomförare av planer – utan möjliggörare av transformation, anpassning och långsiktigt värdeskapande.

The 2027 theme, Shift Happens, explores how project management, leadership, and governance are evolving in an era shaped by AI, continuous transformation, and increasing complexity. As change is no longer temporary but the new operating environment, traditional ways of leading, organizing, and delivering projects are being challenged.

Traditional governance models are increasingly colliding with the speed and uncertainty of modern delivery environments.

Many organizations are still designed for stability while operating in permanent transformation.

AI is already transforming how decisions are made, how teams collaborate, and how projects are delivered. At the same time, organizations face growing demands for sustainability, adaptability, and the ability to navigate uncertainty in increasingly complex environments, from digital transformation and PMO evolution to gigaprojects and smart infrastructure.

We are looking for speakers who want to share insights, experiences, frameworks, practical examples, and new perspectives on how the project management profession is evolving in this new reality. 

We welcome perspectives that challenge traditional approaches to leadership, governance, agility, and project delivery, while exploring the evolving role of humans in AI-driven organizations. We encourage contributions from both digital and physical industries, including infrastructure, healthcare, manufacturing, sustainability, the public sector, and technology-driven transformation.

Project leaders are no longer just managers of delivery — they are enablers of transformation, adaptability, and long-term value creation.
